P6 is missing and p7 is still old. This individual is actively moulting the coverts: all the greater coverts are old and very abraded, the inner 4 medians are new, and #8-12 are new and still growing. A few lesser coverts and scapulars are fresh and show the characteristic pale greyness without brown hue. For a sub-adult LBBG in September, it shows relatively little head streaking.
