An atypical first type bird. Tail, median and greater coverts extremely worn first generation. Some new adult-type scapulars and mantle-feathers are dark grey. Coloration of these new feathers are like third generation scapulars, though old scapulars don't differ in bleaching and wear from juvenile coverts. Possibly, the grey feathers are late acquired second generation scapulars and mantle feathers, while the old feathers are still juvenile.
