A bird ringed July 02 1997 at the nest at Maasvlakte, now in it's 5^th summer. In the bottom picture the moult sequence of the wing-coverts can be seen: some appear rather old with a brown hue, while some appear very neat adult-like grey.

Old coverts: in the greater coverts #4,6,7,9,11,13 a.f.; in the median coverts #1,3,4,8,13 and randomly about half of the lesser coverts.
