LBBG PP4 5cy, May 12 2001, Dintelhaven Maasvlakte, the Netherlands. Ringed PP4 left green. Ringed at the nest at Maasvlakte June 28 1997, now in it's 5cy ( 4th summer). PP4 is an example of LBBG grown up along the coast (Maasvlakte) and showing inland dispersion; it was seen feeding near Woerden, the Netherlands (inland), May 31 1998. Some immature LBBGs (like first summers) strangle along the coast, others feed mainly inland. In the tertials and some of the coverts a brown hue is visible.
