Ringed June 18 1993. Papegaaienbek, with it's shallow beach is an excellent place to watch bathing and preening adults from the surrounding colonies (Dintelhaven en Papegaaienbek). It's nicely located near the river Nieuwe Waterweg, opposite Hoek van Holland and ringed intermedius has been seen here as well. Head feather moult has started around the eye.
