Probably a sub-adult female (5cy?), injured on the left wing (broken?) on June 02 2003. An individual from the Papegaaienbek colony at the Maasvlakte, the Netherlands. Sub-adultness is supported by the outer primary pattern: mirror on P10 only very small and confined to the outer-web.

Note the greater and median primary coverts, with a black centre along the shaft at the inner-web.
All ten primaries are still present. The secondaries are moulted after replacement of the first few inner primaries, these grey secondaries are much fresher than the inner primaries. By early-June, about 90% of the adult LBBGs completely retained old remiges and rectrices.

In the field, the grey tone was judged Kodak 11.5 on a 20 steps AGFA scale.

measured Kodak 11.5 on the 20 steps grey scale.
