All the scapulars and coverts are adult-like grey, both the fresh ones and the abraded feathers. The sixth tertial shows spaghetti pattern, typically immature.
The primary moult stage is average for mid-October: p9 is full grown and the last p10 primary is at the length of the p8 tip. Typically, p10 shows a small, reduced mirror. The tips of p7 and the outer primaries are very small.
Note the extensive black marking on the bill.
