Caspian Gull (Larus cachinnans) adult r-KY27, breeding in colony Lelystad, the Netherlands. Originally from Belarus, ringed as adult male in 2021.

Territory at westernmost "dam 2", Lelystad colony (52°30'42.2"N 5°25'03.1"E) with female partner Larus cachinnans w-327:U 5CY from Czechia.

R-KY27 and metal BYM D01997, ringed as breeding adult male Caspian Gull (Larus cachinnans).
Ringed on may 10th, 2021, which is late in the season for Belarus cachinnans.
The bird was nesting on the periphery of Gatovo colony, a place with notoriously high failure rate regarding breeding success.
