Yellow-legged Gull michahellis 1CY, June 26 2011, Sant Carles de la Rapita - Ebro Delta, Cataluna, Spain. Picture: Chris Gibbins.

Juvenile plumage. Typical upperwing pattern: only weak paler innerwebs on innermost primaries and no pale lozenges on outerwebs. Note wedge-shaped tail pattern, common in Med. michahellis, but note in this bird 'extra proximal spotting' on outer-web of R6.
