Yellow-legged Gull michahellis 1CY, October 14 2001, Westkapelle, the Netherlands.

Some inner median (#2-4, #6-7), three greater coverts (#1-3) and two lesser coverts have been moulted to second generation feathers. Most of the scapulars were moulted to second generation feathers as well, although a few feathers are still juvenile. Some of these second generation scapulars look abraded already. The powerful jizz advocates a male.
