By late June, the primary moult stage is much delayed, with P8-P10 still juvenile and P5 fully grown. Such a low moult score is more in line with 3CY michahellis
In the bottom picture from May 01, 965X can be seen together with white ringed 171Z, originating from the same breeding colony. It misses the left foot and it shows a delayed moult score with the complete wing and tail still juvenile. 171Z was seen on September 21 2002 and October 25 2002 as well. Of course, it then showed complete juvenile wings and tail as well. The left foot is reported missing since at least April 2003.

By August 2003, 171Z was still present. P10 was still juvenile, P7 fully grown. All visible tertails and all visible wing-coverts have been replaced for second generation feathers, which have  atypical second generation-like pattern, lacking obvious grey bases. The legs are still pinkish and the bill is black. The iris is pale brown.
