Yellow-legged Gull michahellis 2CY, July 30 2001, Boulogne-sur-Mer, NW France.

Primary score: p10 is still juvenile and p7 already reaches further than p6, but still p7 is not full-grown. The legs are pink-yellow and the bill is black. Here the tail is still in moult (observed in the field), but by the end of July, many 2CY michahellis show a complete new tail. Note the black centres of the tertials, which are very fresh (and active moult is still in progress in the right wing's upper two tertials). Note the bold brown centre of the first greater covert.
