Baltic Gull - Larus fuscus fuscus

This Baltic Gull from Sweden again is 'more fuscus-like' in appearance. It is interesting as it shows second generation inner primaries (P1-3) in combination with juvenile secondaries and even at least one juvenile tail feather. A similar moult sequence was previously observed in CJC 5. It may seem highly unlikely that birds that have replaced at least eight primaries (the norm to be accepted without a ring) will still show juvenile secondaries or rectrices, but...
