A 2cy with a moult scheme found in Baltic Gull L f fuscus. All feathers except for the outer primaries have been replaced and some scapulars and two greater coverts and three tertials in right wing are probably third generation feathers. However, compared to typical fuscus, this bird is extremely pale; compare to the graellsii/intermedius 2cy Lesser Black-backed Gulls in plates 9-10. Plate 11 demonstrates that this individual actually has 11 primaries in its right wing. P10 is half grown and the old P11 is still present.

In plate 12 with a juvenile Yellow-legged Gull. The juvenile primaries have been dropped and plates 12-13 show that this bird has started a new moult wave: the inner primaries P1-2 are missing.
