Cachinnans - Lelystad r-CB & r-8= (2026)

General remarks:

  • Eggs: Volume measured by Stonehouse (1964) and Spaans & Spaans (1975), which make comparison possible with data from Texel (Camphuysen pers comm 16.04.2020).
  • Nest "r-CB & r-8=": positioned on artificial breakwater 1 west. Near nest 60, where they both hatched. Nest at S-sided of beam, close to top of dam.
  • Certainty on ID in 2026. Female 5CY R-CB (nest 60-2022) & male 4CY r-8= (nest 60-2023). In fact, they are sibling!
