Breeding bird in the recently established colony near Lelystad. Mixed colony of Lesser Black-backed Gull (dominance), Herring Gull, Caspian Gull, Yellow-legged Gull (few) and Spoonbill.
Birds breeding on islands, man-made breakwaters at the entrance of the harbour.

This bird hatched in Poland: metal PLG DN28853 and yellow PLDP, ringed as pullus in a Caspian Gull colony (Larus cachinnans kolonia) on may 25 2012 at ZB. KOZIELNO, PACZKÓW, POLAND (OPOLSKIE), by ringers Jacek Betleja & Jakub Szymczak.
