This bird was first discovered by a fisherman south of the Väder Islands, which are located 13 km SW of the town of Fjällbacka in the Bohuslän, Sweden archipelago on 26-7-2014.
It was then discovered in Oslo on 20-8-2014 and was captured and colour-ringed as Norway's first Pallas's gull in Bispevikan, Akershus, Oslo (59.54’18,2N-10.45’13,0E) on 23-8-2014.
The bird has not been seen since.
