Here is a bird with suspended P1. Peter states: "This would not be obvious the field and easily overlooked in the hand, especially if the other primaries show little wear. We have undoubtedly overlooked birds with suspended P1 in April in the past, when this image was taken. We now look closely at all birds at all times of the year."
