Gull captured, tagged, banded and released in Boston, Mass., 02/02/11, discovered by Keith and Jen Mueller, Provincetown, Mass 10/14/11.
It was the first reported sighting of this gull since it was banded.

2nd cycle bird, with complete moult finished. Note the fresh feathers replaced in the next sequence, the partial autumn moult. These feathers are TT1-2, GC1,3-4, MC1,2,4,6-8,10 (with single feathers still growing), and several LC. Still no adult-like grey feathers in scapular region.
