See website: The Gulls Of Appledore. Green 97A was banded as a chick in 2014, at Appledore Island.

Iris already turning paler brown. Bi-coloured bill. Note the difference in tone between older brown washed body feathers and recently replaced greyish colder looking feathers, especially on the side of the breast.

2nd generation flight feathers. Last summer the wing-coverts were moulted to 2nd gen as well. This fall, another limnited moult, the partial autumn moult, included some of the coverts again: left side TT1-2 in active moult now, right side only TT1, in left wing GC1-2 new 3rd gen, MC1-2 new; in right wing GC1-2 new, MC2 new.
