American Herring Gull banded green alphanumeric U32. An 'Appledore Gull' banded on Appledore Island, Maine on July 14 2014. This is the first sighting for U32 since leaving Appledore Island after banding.

2CY in complete moult: P1-P4 replaced for 2nd gen primaries, P7-P10 still old juvenile. Complete row of median and lower lesser coverts replaced for 2nd gen feathers. Several central greater coverts dropped, leaving a moult gap exposing the dark bases of the juvenile secondaries underneath. Lower tertials, inner GC and many of the LC still juvenile, bleached and worn. two-toned bill.
