Kalev Rattiste, the ringer reported: This male Mew Gull is born in Kakrarahu colony, Matsalu National Park, Estonia (58.46 N 23.26 E) in 1988. He started to breed in the natal colony in 1992 and is still breeding there. His father has born in the same colony in 1972 and has been breeding there in 1976-1991. His mother has been breeding in our study area in 1983-1991. He has four sons returning to breed in the same Kakrarahu colony (in 2007 three of them were observed breeding). Previously he had plastic rings P282 and PC29. This bird is observed three times (07.10.1999; 21.09.2000 and 10.09.2004) at Dannes by Harry Vercruijsse. In addition, he had a brother who bred in the same Kakrarahu colony in 1995- 2005 and a sister who bred there in 1996. He had also one halfsister (father the same, mother different) who was found dead at age of 11 years in a breeding colony 20 km away.
