Bird actiuvely replacing (into 2nd gen) wing-coverts, as part of post-juvenile moult. This post-juvenile moult typically involves upper tertials, inner greater coverts, and many of the median and lower lesser coverts. Central and outer greater coverts, lower tertials and outer primaries normally remain juvenile.
