Adult bird, guarding at the colony.

Phenotypics:
P10 large mirror .
P5 with full subterminal band.
P4 black on outerweb just visible.
All dark iris. Orbital ring is red. Bill has no red on upper mandible. Yellow(ish) legs. Upperparts pale gull grey, probbaly about Kodak 6 (of course difficult to be exact about this feature, but true black-white, yellow, red and blue values probably pretty natural in these pictures).
