Ring-billed Gull delawarensis X2M adult, December 03 2014, East 55th Street Marina - Cleveland, OH. Picture: Chuck Slusarczyk.

Blue X2M and metal Fed band 0954-20818, banded as breeding sub-adult on May 07 2012 at Île Deslauriers, Varennes, QC. This marking program is conducted by the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) as part of a research project on movements and population dynamics of Ring-billed Gulls breeding in southern Quebec. For more details, you can visit our web site here ( gull.uqam.ca). If you find one banded bird, please report it here.

Ringed as breeding sub-adult, which probably means 2nd cycle (3CY) bird in 2012, and 4th cycle (4CY) by December 2014. Birds of this age group (young adults) resemble the full adult plumage in all respects (it remains to be seen if a larger reference group of these birds may point to some differences, therefore these are valuable observations).
