LBBG 2cy, April 19 2002, Le Portel / Boulogne-sur-Mer, France (50.42N,1.34E).

The tail, all the wing-coverts and the tertials are still juvenile and the inner coverts are very worn. The second generation upper scapulars showed an anchor pattern, but the sub-terminal band is worn away. Three upper lower scapulars are missing. The lower scapulars were moulted more recently and have a brown grey base, a broad central wedge and a hint of a sub-terminal band. In the lowest row of lower scapulars one feather is missing and two feathers are still juvenile.  The bill has a paler base and P1-P10 are still juvenile.
