Lesser Black-backed Gull 2CY, May 22 2014, Katwijk, the Netherlands.
2CY graellsii type bird, but advanced. Complete moult started: P1 missing, P2-P10 old 1st generation. All secondaries juvenile. Few rectrices replaced on wintering grounds (very recently in late winter), maybe R1 still growing. Many inner wing-coverts and upper tertials were included in the post-juvenile moult. Several grey upper scapulars (3rd gen).
