Lesser Black-backed Gull 2cy, June 24 2013, Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
Bird without ring, hence no provenance on origin. On winter grounds most of inner coverts replaced (and now these feathers worn at fringes and slightly bleached centres) plus rectrices.
Now complete moult started P2/P6 (P3 equals P1) and outer MC also being replaced. Note missing central GC, now exposing the juvenile secondaries underneath.
