Lesser Black-backed Gull 3cy, June 24 2013, Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
3cy LBBG which returned from the winter grounds with 2nd generation primaries and secondaries, and tail-feathers.
This bird started the complete moult: P1-P2 new, P3 growing, P4 missing, P5-P10 old. Now the new inner primaries are visible, new MC are coming through as well. Old brown coverts contrast with grey 'saddle' (mantle+scapulars), which all together perfectly match classic graellsii.
