Lesser Black-backed Gull 3cy, June 09 2013, Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
Advanced 3cy LBBG with irregular moult in primaries: P1-P3 old 2nd gen, P4-P6 with white tips 3rd generation, P7-P10 old 2nd generation. Complete moult not started again. Returned from wintering grounds with completely new tail, including many all-white tail feathers. In the same period (probably late winter, so only 3 months ago) also replaced all but a few secondaries. Exact time schedule for new primaries P4-P6 uncertain, but they don't seem to be as fresh as tail and secondaries.
Most probably intermedius.
