Lesser Black-backed Gull (graellsii & intermedius)

LBBG 3cySeptember 17 2001, Vuurtorenvlakte - Maasvlakte, the Netherlands.

An interesting individual in having the inner median coverts with a strong brown hue, where in most cases the median coverts are the first to be moulted to third generation adult-like grey feathers. Also many tertials still have to be moulted. Otherwise it's very typical as a 3cy LBBG.
