Once old second generation primaries are all shed, ageing becomes more difficult. P8 is full-grown and there are no old primaries left. The all-white tail and the adult-like grey upper-parts may advocate a 4cy bird. This is supported by the relatively large white primary tips. But note the similarity in primary tip size when compared to this picture.
