Lesser Black-backed Gull (graellsii & intermedius)

LBBG sub-adult, August 20 2012, Katwijk, the Netherlands.

Sub-adult in active moult, small moult gap: P2/P4. White tail but brown wash on old coverts and secondaries. Mirrors on both P10 and P9 (tiny mirror). Brown wash on greater primary coverts indicate 5cy.
