Bird ringed at Storøytåa, Mandal, Vest-Agder, Norway (57°59'18"N 007°26'10"E ) on June 25 2007.

Primary p9 is fully grown and p10 still has to grow some half an inch, note also the mirror on p10. The two upper tertials (tt1, tt2), the inner greater covert (gc2) and a inner median covert (mc2) are replaced in the partial moult. Note the pink color from the base of the bill toward the gonysdeal, the broad black band about the gonys and the pale tip. Compare this 2cy Norwegian Great Black-backed Gull with the unringed Great Black-backed Gull from the same age in the background.
