Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus)

Great Black-backed Gull L. marinus adult, February 18 2004, IJmuiden, the Netherlands (52.27N,04.33E).
Pale iris and black on P4-P10. Some adults show a faint black sub-terminal ring on the bill, but here the bill is four coloured. Note that the primary coverts and all other feather tracts are typical adult.
