Iceland Gull (glaucoides) 1cy, December 03 2007, Scheveningen, the Netherlands.

Age 1cy December: showing dark bill with pale base, dark iris and juvenile plumage (although few scapulars may be replaced by this time of the year).

Rather dark 1cy bird. In some images, P10 has moved over P8 in the left wing. P10, from above, lacks a dark outer-web; but such is obvious present on the other primaries. The fresh primaries still show rather obvious sub-terminal chevrons.
