First-cycle Iceland type gulls in Duluth during the fall/winter 2011-2012. This particular bird may represent intergrades/hybrids with Thayer's Gull, especially as it shows a solid tail band, some solid color in the tertials, and a hint of a secondary bar. However, the outer primaries in flight are as pale as the rest of the wing.
