Yellow F7 and Fed band no 1106-23055, banded in winter on January 18 2013, in St. John's, Newfoundland (LAT: 47.80833; LON: -52.80833).

Age 2cy: showing dark bill with slightly pale base, dark iris, pigmentation on outer primaries is darker than it is on the inner primaries (but note difference in angle of these feathers), which normally is a good pointer for kumlieni. Note dark outer-webs of outer primaries, especially P9-P7.
