Photographed at Canal Park on 11 December 2011 and Canal Park on 17 December 2011. Although the white mirror on P9 reaches the outer edge on the outer-web as in Kumlien's, note the black dot on the outer-web of P5, the dark blackish extending along the outer-web of P10 all the way to the primary coverts, and the rather coarse head and bill structure (all more typical of Thayer's).
