Heuglini adult, July 12 2003, Tampere, Finland (61.33N 24.59E).

Features suggesting heuglini in these pictures are upper-parts grey-tone, primary moult state and general structure. Birds obvious paler than fuscus and primary moult not started yet: P1-P10 still present, but primaries still in relative good condition in July. Facial expression: strong bill with obvious gonydeal angle. General structure suggest male: more elongated bird, general shape not unlike argentatus, still different from the slender and 'elongated' look of fuscus.
Mirror on P10, on both webs, small  mirror on outer-web of P9. Red spot confined to lower mandible.
