Larus cachinnans 1CY 29P4 October 09 2014, Boulogne-sur-Mer, France. Picture: Jean-Michel Sauvage.

Red ring from Poland used in 2014. 300 pulli were ringed this year, all pulli in May 2014 at the Kozielno colony, Paczkow, Poland, ringed by Jacek Betleja.
Ringing data: red 20P2 and metal PLG DN31229, ringed as pullus on May 15 2014 at ZB.KOZIELNO,PACZKÓW, POLAND (50°28'35.8''N 16°58'54.2''E).

History:
11.08.2014 Dźwirzyno, ZACHODNIOPOMORSKIE, POLAND (54°9'33.9''N 15°23'36.2''E). 423 Km.
17.10.2014 Boulogne-sur-mer, FRANCE. Distance parcourue : 1084 Km.

Heavily streaked bird with strong high bill. Probably all falling just within limits for pure cachinnans, but some michahellis influence is also possible in this colony.
By October, most scapulars replaced 2nd gen, and post-juvenile moult in coverts and tertials: GC2, MC2-3 and probably some MC missing. Would be good to see it back in November.
