Larus cachinnans 1CY-2CY PCTN October 2012 - March 2013, Deponie Pohlsche Heide - Minden, Germany (52°23'05N, 08°46'45E). Picture: Armin Deutsch. Yellow PCTN and metal (PLG) DN28028, ringed as pullus on May 10 2012 at Wyspa na Wisle, Kepa Nadbrzeska, Poland, (50°01' N, 21°13' E). This is a breeding colony in S Poland (near Tarnów), with most birds breeding here cachinnans, but in this area also single records of few michahellis are possible (see PDF). PCTN is classic cachinnans. Probably male. Recoveries:

below: upper TT, inner GC, many MC and LC now moulted in post-juvenile moult. Probably male, together with Herring Gull and Lesser Black-backed Gull.
