For 2012, breeding location of 150 pairs cachinnans, of which 54 adults ringed and 158 pulli in 2012 (pers comm. Łukasz Bednarz).

Breeding bird trapped at the nest. Adult, with dense speckling in iris. Orange orbital ring and gape. No red on upper mandible; black on the upper and faint black on the lower mandible. Pink fleshy legs with yellow hue.
Deep white tongue on P10, and limited black on outerweb of P5; small black line on P4. P1-P3 dropped and P1-P2 growing, PMS=5.

Saturated bare parts with bright yellow bill and obvious yellow tone in legs.
