For 2012, breeding location of 150 pairs cachinnans, of which 54 adults ringed and 158 pulli in 2012 (pers comm. Łukasz Bednarz).

Breeding bird trapped at the nest. Adult, with limited speckling in iris (0-1%) and much black in wingtip, in these two traits differing from average cachinnans and therefore considered "Larus argentatus sensu lato".
Red orbital ring and gape. No red on upper mandible; no black on the upper and no black on the lower mandible. Pink legs with yellow hue.
Short grey tongue on P10, and broad black band on P5; no black spot on P4. P1 dropped; PMS=1.
