Lesser Black-backed Gull (graellsii & intermedius)

LBBG 2cy 4285081 September 04 2005, Oostende, Belgium.

A very bold patterned individual, somewhat reminiscent of michahellis 2cy birds in early summer. The primary moult has arrived at P8. The wing-coverts have been replaced in the complete moult this summer, now the partial autumn moult just starts in the inner greater coverts and the upper tertials.
