Lesser Black-backed Gull (graellsii & intermedius)

Lesser Black-backed Gull 3cy, June 24 2013, Noordwijk, the Netherlands.

3cy LBBG which returned from the winter grounds with 2nd generation primaries and secondaries. Few tail-feathers replaced for new feathers which have limited black or appear all white.

This bird is advanced in the complete moult: P1-P3 new, P4 growing, P5 missing, P6-P10 old. Many outer GC missing, now exposing secondaries underneath.
