Lesser Black-backed Gull intermedius DKC 4272452 3CY, October 14 2001, Westkapelle, the Netherlands.

3cy LBBG ringed 4272452 Copenhagen Denmark. Ringed on July 07 1999 at Langli Ho Bugt Vadehavsoerne, Western Denmark (55.31N,08.19E).

Some features indicate 3cy: much black on bill, relatively small white tips on the fresh outer primaries (p8 lacking such a white tip) and the old p10 lacking a white mirror. Nevertheless, the upper-parts are all grey as in adults and the tail is completely white. Note that p8 is slightly longer than p7, while p9-p10 are still old; moult will probably be arrested at p8.
