High fidelity to native location. Together with partner ZW-KU.

Lesser Black-backed Gull graellsii TS1 6CY, April 22-29 2002, Maasvlakte-Dintelhaven, the Netherlands. Picture: Mars Muusse.

Adult ringed, left green TS1. A very tidy bird, lacking moult gaps in the scapulars and coverts. Note the brown hue on the inner and central greater coverts. The primary tips are relatively fresh. Note the small dark hint on the upper mandible. Note also the difference in age in the inner median coverts, with brown hued feathers between the neat grey rows. In this case, the code of the ring turned slightly yellow.
