below: Looking soutwards. The hatching location of the island Fedjeoff the coast at Bergen, Norway. Like so many intermedius birds, JC5V crossed the NorthSea to the Netrherlands, and continued its journey along the Atlantic coast into the Iberian peninsular, when it was recorded at Madrid, a trip of about 2,500 km.
