Lesser Black-backed Gull intermedius 17cy NOS 494670 November 02 2003, Westkapelle, the Netherlands.

Intermedius Stavanger 494670. Ringed as pullus on 28 June 1987 at Sømna, Nordland, Norway (65° 16' 48 , 11° 39' 0).

P7 is fully grown and P8 is at exactly the same length (in our field scores: P8 as longest primary in the folded wing, hence P8 is fully grown). No old primaries left. The legs are yellow, the orbital ring is red. The white-yellow iris shows no speckling. The bill is yellow, with the red gonydeal spot confined to the lower mandible, but with dark markings on both upper and lower mandible. All old tail-feathers have been shed, but the new feathers are not fully grown yet.
